The festival's goal is to bring artists, patrons and visitors from around the world together. A fantastic way for the lovers of the work to interact with the creators. It's a collectors paradise as well, where work can be purchased during the auction and throughout the entire weekend. Plenty to view or purchase in the 30,000 square foot facility that houses the festival.

The Seattle Erotic Art Festival was founded in 2002 and is sponsored by the Wet Spot, a Seattle-based non-profit community that fosters growth and development of a sex-positive culture. The Wet Spot maintains a safe and supportive membership-based community center that serves as a gathering place for a full range of sex-positive cultures, and offers informational resources, educational opportunities, and events that serve to promote self-expression within a supportive community.

Pet Silvia, co-owner of Art @ Large, has been appointed head curator for the 2005 Festival.

Foundation member Marc DeBauch's art will be be on display and for sale.

TOM ON HIS WORK
"Yes, I consider my work pornography. Pornography means to stimulate peoples' sexual feelings, and I'm always very aware of that. My motive is lower than art." — Tom of Finland from the MSC Finland Website.
