A Fantastical Celebration of the Arts

Thousands will enjoy three days of events at the 2011 Festival.

Festival jurors and curators selected a variety of art from over 1,600 entries submitted by more than 400 artists. "We're excited to present a comprehensive collection of international art, diverse in medium, sexual proclivities, body type, age, ethnicity, and gender," says Festival Director Anna Hurwitz.

There is over 170 visual artists representing 13 countries. There's such a variety of art, including 27 amazing scultpures. We're sure you'll fall in love and want to take a piece (or two) home with you.

SEAF was founded in 2002 by Seattle's Sex Positive Community Center to promote freedom of sexuality, speech and creativity through the erotic expression of fine art.

Please visit their website for photographs and artwork from previous festivals.

HAPPY SEXUALITY
“In those days, a gay man was made to feel nothing but shame about his feelings and his sexuality. I wanted my drawings to counteract that, to show gay men being happy and positive about who they were. Oh, I didn’t sit down to think this all out carefully. But I knew — right from the start — that my men were going to be proud and happy men!"
