Lexander is proud to present, for the first time anywhere
in the world, the most comprehensive exhibition of the work of G. B.
Jones, spanning over three decades of reprensentational resistance.
G. B. Jones is a multitalented artist working in the areas
of drawing, design, film, music and publishing. She has been producing
drawings since 1985 and her work has been extensively exhibited in bgoth
group and solo exhibitions throughout both North and South America,
Europe and Australia. Her work has previously been featured in group
exhibitions in Los Angeles at Stuart Regen Gallery in 1992 and at Los
Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) in the 1990's and 2000's.
The current exhibition includes selections from a number
of series of her drawings and also marks the debut presentation of the
Svastia series, which explores new territory in drawings such as That
Dark in September and Monotheism.
Lexander is a contemporary art gallery based in the heart
of Gallery Row in Downtown Los Angeles. With over twelve of
years of international experience in brokering and dealing
fine art and antiquities in the United States, United Kingdom,
Germany, Japan, Iran, and Russia, Lexander is pleased to open
his first publicly accessible gallery of contemporary art
and design in Los Angeles.
From modest beginnings buying and reselling signed prints
and lithographs by pop art notables to brokering sales of
original works of both established and emerging contemporary
artists and designers who adhere to high aesthetic standards
of precision and detail, Lexander continues to zealously promote
undervalued and underappreciated artists of global scale with
a strong background in representational form and conceptual
