Alexson agreees to do event. Dehner suggests meeting to finalize event date, go over plans from previous years and decide wheter this will be a "public" event and "upgrade membership" tool. Determine what is to be done, by whom and by when.

New date Sept. 15th? Can’t do event if there is no one in charge. Dehner contacts Dave Alexson from the Bel Age to ask him if he will “do” this event. Alexson will get back to him in a couple of days.

Honor Commander Eliott Harmon (deceased). Dedicate the evening to him as he would have been in attendence. Show (newly framed) artwork that he did and was given to the Foundation by his family. Feature for-sale pieces. Invite his sister and brother.

  • In addition to a number of Commanders and Seamen we will have other guests whose interest and good will can benefit the Foundation.

  • Staff and Board members will receive a copy of the guest list when they arrive so they'll know who’s who.

  • Durk will supervise the kitchen people.

  • Berkowitz will be at the front door with the guest list, Board members to assist.

  • The exhibit from NY on 20 years of the Foundation will be set up in the breakfast room.

  • Around 8 pm we will call everyone into the living room for a BRIEF program. 

  • Berkowitz will thank everyone for coming.

  • Introduce Sharp as head of the Perm. Collection, and he will present w/ the framers, newly framed pieces and thank them.

  • Announcement of the Rothschild gift and "unveiing" the six images in the living room.

  • Introduction of Durk, who will again thank everyone for coming and say how important they are to the Foundation.

  • Immediately following the program, Volker will be in the dining room to display the giclee print, describe how it was made and offer it for sale.
