The great master of homoerotic art, Tom of Finland, first began this non-profit Foundation to preserve his own vast catalog of work and soon after expanded its goals to support and nurture all erotic art. Since then, the Foundation has built its membership and instituted many events and programs to celebrate and nurture erotic art and artists, while educating the public about the importance of freedom of expression. The Foundation is a resource for artists, collectors, students, curators, and all art-lovers. Yearly memberships start at $35 and include the `Dispatch' newsletter and Erotic Art Gallery by Mail.

Check out the new Dispatch for information about recent Foundation events and the Links Page for recently updated artist sites.

Who should know about the
Tom of Finland Foundation?

Emerging Erotic Artists
The Foundation sponsored its first Emerging Erotic Artist Contest in 1994, offering prizes and publication opportunities for unpublished and amateur erotic artists. A catalog featuring full-color reproductions is available from the Tom of Finland Company. The '96 contest winners are announced in our Spring '96 Dispatch and last year's winners are on view in the Fall/Winter '97 issue.

Established Erotic Artists
Put yourself alongside such greats as the Hun, Rex, Robert Mapplethorpe, George Quaintance, Etienne, Cirby, Martin of Holland and more! It's a great opportunity for continued exposure.

Collectors
Let us put you in contact with the major erotic artists of our time. While we don't offer our valuable holdings for sale, we endeavor to keep artists on record and in contact with the collectors who are their livelihood. See our Erotic Art Gallery for contemporary artists with exciting erotic works for sale!

Curators
Museums and organizations worldwide have plumbed our archives for the most challenging, innovative and transgressive erotic works. It is even possible to loan framed originals for your exhibitions.

Students
Our extensive files are excellent sources for research!

You!
Everyone is welcome! Appointments are available! If you plan to be in Southern California, drop us a line.
