The Foundation Thanks
the people who made the opening for
Men At Arms
a success...

An army of art lovers assembled at 665 in Hollywood, CA on June 10th at 18:00. Mission: enjoyment.

Many thanks to host 665 for turning their showroom into a gallery for this occasion.

The exhibition runs through August 10, 2004.

The Foundation would not be anything but a dream without its Members!

The Seamen & Commanders' Cocktail Party is one of our ways to offer thanks to our Members, as well as some that have made contributions to the Foundation "above and beyond the call of duty."

Of course, we also thank the people that pulled this event together! The planning committee, the kitchen crew, the bartender, the food servers, and set-up and clean-up people all worked hard to make this a great time for our guests. We were treated to a special presentation from the Permanent Collection thanks to the framers, Design & Decor.

We hope you'll be there next year!

Important notice:

Recently we have noticed a huge increase of e-mail messages that appear to have come from the Foundation that are not from us. Some of these messages contain viruses or links to websites that attempt to steal information about you or your computer.

This is called spoofing, and there is nothing that we can do about it. Major banks, radio & television stations, e-Bay, Amazon and other other on-line hosts are suffering from the same situation. We strongly urge you keep your anti-virus and firewall software up-to-date.

The Dispatch E-news NEVER contains attachments of any kind.

If you receive any e-mails that appear to come from from the Foundation that contain attachments, do not open them -- unless your were specifically expecting a particular attachment by prior arrangement in the course of Foundation business.

This is true not only of Foundation communications, but of any messages you may find in your in-box.
