Mark Nelson
As a new Foundation Board Member

The Foundation is pleased to announce that Mark Nelson has taken a seat on our Board of Directors. He brings with him great experience in NYC as a promoter and producer.

Mark also writes, edits and sends out a weekly email newsletter that goes to subscribers across the USA and many parts of the world. Currently Mark's office is working with The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force 2006 Miami Winter Party Festival and a fall New York fundraising spectacular for the Tom of Finland Foundation. Mark hopes to continue in this field for years to come and the Foundation welcomes him and his gusto!

Donation to Museum Chicago, IL

Collector and Gallery Owner Donates
Tom of Finland Drawings

Hudson, curator and owner of Feature Inc., has donated two pivotal drawings by the artist, Tom of Finland, to the Permanent Collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.

First there was the Town Hall in the hamlet where Tom was born, then the Kiasma in Helsinki, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Portland Museum of Art and the recent donation by the Judith Rothschild Foundation to the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Tom's artwork continues to blaze a trail into the mainstream artworld for erotic artists everywhere.

Artist Relocations

Marc Arranaga is leaving Los Angeles, CA and moving to New York.

"The time has come to continue my education as I pursue a Ph.D. in art history at City University of New York".

Philip Hitchcock is leaving Los Angeles and moving to St. Louis, MO.

"After nearly three decades in Los Angeles, I'm leaving California. My partner, Stanton, and I are relocating to St. Louis, Missouri. I will continue making art (and hopefully a little controversy!) and Stan has accepted a position at St. Louis University."
