S. M. Shifflett paints in a old world style with new world subject matter. The style has been described as hyper realist [beyond photo realist]. If you get a chance to see the work in person don't miss out. Reproductions in any media only tell half the story.

Tulip Enterprises: Berlin artists Hans Booy and Paulus Fugers' hand-painted "Ceramixed Plates" and paintings are humorous takes on pornography, prostitution and males as sex objects, but also depict political themes like homophobia and male honor.

On Tuesday, May 8, 2007, Durk Dehner, President of Tom of Finland Foundation, Los Angeles, California, and Etienne de Swardt, Founder and President of Etat Libre d’Orange, Paris, France signed an exclusive licensing agreement for the development of an original signature fragrance line of products.

The signing, held on Tom of Finland's birthday, was celebrated with an evening of champagne and chocolates. It culminated with samples of Etat Libre d'Orange's current product line, as well as several candidate scents that could compose the basis of the new Tom fragrance.

Guests, including members of the press, were also treated to a special grouping of Tom’s original artwork. This exhibition will be extended for the next few months. The public is invited to call the Foundation for an appointment to view this exhibit, as well as view the many dozens of other pieces of erotic artwork on display.
