presents:
Hard Wear
Industrial fetish Fashion Photography by Max Uber

Held over!
Open to the public on San Pedro’s monthly 1st Thursday Art Walk
on March 2, 2006 from 7–11 PM.

With a visionary eye in to the future world of Haute Couture comes the dynamic series from Los Angeles erotic art photographer, Max Uber, Hard Wear.

This stunning collection of thirteen, 36" x 36", giclee prints of an array exotically made up models in equally exotic fashions and jewelry made of industrial strength materials like hi-pressure air hoses, seat belts, Bangui cords, electric tubing, ¼ inch copper pipe and non-slippery matting and more make a believable case for future fashion.

Mr. Uber, who also designed and built the fashions, dazzles, entertains and educates the viewer with playful and sexy images of beautiful women that practically jump out of their brightly colorful canvas world to exhibit the possibilities of the world of fetish.

A selection of the actual fashions will also grace the exhibition.

NAKED MEN
“I almost never draw a completely naked man. He has to have at least a pair of boots or something on. To me, a fully dressed man is more erotic than a naked one. A naked man is, of course beautiful, but dress him in black leather or a uniform — ah, then he is more than beautiful, then he is sexy!”
