Dear Harvey:

The Board of Directors - everyone at the Tom of Finland Foundation - is delighted you have agreed to accept the Foundation's 2006 Lifetime Achievement Award. As I have communicated earlier, we will present the Award to you at ToFF's annual Awards Banquet, to be held on Saturday evening, October 7, 2006 as part of the Twelfth Annual Erotic Art Fair Weekend in West Hollywood/Los Angeles.

I have received your C.V. - indeed a "lifetime" of service and good deeds in a man so young! We are very proud of all that you have done and of the relationship we have been able to start with you. You have received from us, by fax, a list of previous recipients of the Award. The Award is an acrylic "tower" designed by sculptor Philip Hitchcock, and incorporates an engraved Tom of Finland drawing with your name.

We hope you and a friend (will Andre be with you?) will be our guest at the Banquet. Again, it is being held at the Wyndham Bel Age, 1020 North San Vincente Boulevard, West Hollywood, California, 90069. I know you have obligations this evening - our Banquet is scheduled from 8:00 - 11:00 PM. If there are others who you would like to attend, we can give them a discounted ticket price. Please let me know what arrangements we can make. We are looking forward to your "acceptance speech" - I was genuinely moved by your words at Charles Cowels this past spring. Durk will be the "MC' for the evening. Is there someone special you would like to have at the podium with you? Is there anyone to whom we can send invitations for you?
